A class to help ensure that DataType-specific manipulations are done for
all possible DataTypes. Logically can/should be used whenever a series
of "if" statements or a "switch" statement on DataType enum values might
be used. Users of this class get the benefit of the fact that whenever a
new data type is added, an error will result (alas at runtime, not
compile time, but better that than nothing), indicating the places that
need to be visited to deal with the new data type.
