StreamBase Server emits messages about events that occur when you run a Java client application, using the SLF4J front end and the Logback back end. When running in background mode with sbd -b, StreamBase automatically switches to using Log4j as the logging back end.
Your custom client, operator, or adapter Java code can and should participate in the same logging mechanism.
StreamBase logging is discussed in:
-
Using StreamBase Logging in the Administration Guide.
-
When running and testing applications in StreamBase Studio, log messages are written by default to the Error Log View.
